About Shankar
My Story
I have worked with Technology giants and Consulting Companies in many countries across the world. Serviced several clients from Fortune 500 Companies to large mid-sized Companies, in a range of industries. Worked with a range of technologies – starting with mini-computers in the eighties, to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics today. I possess US patents as a co-inventor in AI.
I am a life and career coach. I coach mid-level and senior executives, many of them from the Technology or new-age sectors. They are stuck and stagnating in their careers, with knowledge of traditional ways of thinking, processes and technologies. They face little career growth, low hikes and no promotions. Some have experienced job losses and burn out. I help such people rejuvenate their careers with my experience and expertise, by offering a guided program using accelerated and disruptive techniques.
I have gone thru the challenge of mid-career stagnation. Thru disciplined effort, I was able to change my mindset and learn new technologies and processes. I have formalized this process using a simple to use framework.
Having seen the pain of others, I have guided several people to take charge of their careers and improve the course of their lives, driven by a deep interest in helping others transform their lives. Have actively contributed to Corporate counselling and coaching initiatives.
After over 30 years in the IT industry, I finally found my true calling as a career and life coach. Even as an Executive, my team considered me as ‘coach’, rather than a Manager. I mentor my coachees thru the career maze and help them find their true passions in life.
